Description
The MVCN Peer Support Group Facilitator Program is designed to reduce isolation among caregivers by connecting them to the support of peer groups that meet in-person, online, or via telephone. Our trained Peer Support Group Facilitators engage and connect with caregivers of all eras and all relations to provide support, knowledge, and foster hope and empowerment. MVCN Peer Support Group Facilitators positively model the “lived experience” of caregiving, and compassionate companioning along their caregiving journeys.
This training is hosted through the Zoom meeting platform and allows us to have live video interaction, including role play exercises and interactive discussions.
If you would like to join our team of trained volunteer Peer Support Group Facilitators, we encourage you to register. Upon registration, you will receive an email with additional information.
